Fast, reliable access to help anytime, anywhere, using the power of five location technologies.
Why choose a mobile medical alert system?
If you have been comparing mobile medical alert systems, by now you know that many rely only on GPS to help find you when you need help. Philips Lifeline knows that one location technology is not always enough. Our mobile solutions have up to five location technologies that come standard with the service. So no matter where you are, we can get you the help you want.3
Our Mobile Medical Alert System with GPS
GoSafe 2 is our premier mobile alert service offering. This single piece system includes multiple advanced location technologies, fall detection capabilities, and two-way voice communication – all in a light, comfortable, easy-to-wear pendant. Get the help you need at the press of a button.
Location Technology Features
Assisted Global Positioning System (A-GPS)
An Assisted Global Positioning System, or "A-GPS", works using a network of satellites to quickly identify your location. This is faster than a conventional Global Positioning System (GPS), meaning the help you need gets to you quickly.
Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi)
Our mobile pendants use nearby Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) wireless networking technology access points to help identify your location. Wi-Fi location identification excels indoors and in other areas where an Assisted Global Positioning System (A-GPS) may not reach or work well, keeping you covered.
Intelligent Location History
GoSafe 2 records regular location history snapshots or “breadcrumbs”, and stores them. After you press your button, Philips Lifeline Trained Care Specialists can use these breadcrumbs to help determine your location and your direction of travel.
Two-Way Voice Communication
Our GoSafe 2 mobile medical alert system allows you to speak directly with a Philips Lifeline Trained Care Specialist through the pendant, so you can get the help you need, where you need it, promptly.
Philips Lifeline can activate an audio beacon on your pendant, which emits a loud sound to help responders find you when help is needed.
What makes Philips Lifeline different?
Getting help quickly can make all the difference. The competition relies only on a Global Positioning System (GPS), which is appropriate if you are outdoors. Philips Lifeline uses up to FIVE different locating technologies to help pinpoint your location, indoors or out, which means you get reliable assistance fast.
