Leeza Gibbons: I’m so excited to be here today. I’ve really been looking forward to it.

I couldn’t wait for this moment. I was so excited about meeting what I think is my new family, the whole team at Philips.

Hi everybody! I loved you at hello!

I got to see the Response Center. This really is the heart of the operation.

Tiana, Personal Response Associate: We are the only voice that they hear sometimes. And we have to just be there to assist them.

Leeza: So what’s your secret to that? What do you have in your mind when you get a call?

Tiana: Smile.

Leeza: A smile?

Tiana: Yeah, because it comes from within. Like the way your voice is when you smile, then it makes them feel more at ease.

Leeza: How did you know that you’d be good at it?

Tiana: I love helping people in any way that I can.

Leeza: So this is a perfect job for you.

Tiana: Oh yeah.

Leeza: Nice to meet you. Thank you so much.

Tiana: It’s a pleasure to meet you.

Leeza: And they know it’s all about listening. That’s what I found out when I got to sit in on a call.

I can listen in on the call?

Marcia: This is for you.

Leeza: Thank You. It’s like a Madonna headset.

This was exactly like I’d hoped. You know, I had in my mind what I thought it would be like: all these responders, everybody in action, the calls coming in. It was just like that.

You could have all the greatest products in the world, but if you don’t have anyone to sell them what good are they, right? So the sales team really has my respect.

Leeza: They want to hear from the customers, and they want to find a solution.

Alisha, Sales Associate: All right, so we do have a couple of different options here. Do you want to tell me a little bit about what’s going on? That way I can make a recommendation based on what you need.

Leeza: We made the sale!

I had a chance to meet with real customers. And I did feel a special connection to them.

Caregiver: 94 years old.

Caregiver’s Mother: 94 and a half!

Leeza: I love that you’re proud of your age. That’s the only way we can be, right? Proud of our age.

I’ve been where they are. I know what it feels like to face a challenge.

Thank you. Oh my gosh, that was so great.

It’s a very special community to be a part of. And it’s a community of empowerment.

Leeza: I am so grateful, and I admire what you do tremendously.

Everything about today really exceeded my expectations. I knew that I would be impressed. I knew this was a great organization. I even knew the employees had tremendous heart. But being here with them, experiencing the passion and now feeling part of the team, well that’s, that’s everything.
